The Rawether for Windows product is available in two versions. The primary difference between the two versions is whether complete sources are provided (Professional version) on only user mode samples are provided (Software Development Kit version).

Rawether Software Development Kit (SDK)

The Rawether for Windows SDK includes sources to these Rawether Sample Applications:

	NDIScope MFC Application - Which allows the user to dynamically select and bind with any installed Ethernet adapter and then displays adapter information. The Open button allows the user to select the protocols to be captured, and then starts the HookPeek application.
	HookPeek Win32 Console Application - Which binds with a specified adapter and then dumps all received packets to the console display.

The Rawether SDK includes the header files and libraries needed for you to write your own applications that use the Rawether API to access NDIS MAC adapters.

If you prefer to use the Microsoft .NET Framework, the Rawether SDK also includes the Rawether .NET class library and .NET Framework sample applications.

With the Rawether SDK you receive the supporting DLLs and device drivers only in object form. However, you will have a royalty-free license to redistribute these supporting components with your own product.

Although the Rawether SDK does not include sources to the W32N55 DLL and supporting NDIS protocol drivers, the Rawether SDK actually provides all that a developer needs to use the Rawether Win32 NDIS API.

Rawether Professional (SDK+DDK)

The Rawether for Windows Professional version includes all of the SDK components described above. In addition, the Professional version includes sources to the supporting DLLs and drivers, including:

	PCASp50.SYS and PCAMp50.SYS Protocol Drivers - Dynamically-loadable NDIS 5.0 Protocol Drivers For Windows 2000 and higher (including Windows Vista).
	PCASp40.SYS and PCAMp40.SYS Protocol Drivers - Dynamically-loadable NDIS 4.0 Protocol Drivers For Windows NT 4.0.
	PCASp30.VXD and PCAMp30.VXD Protocol Drivers - Dynamically-loadable NDIS 3.1 Protocol Drivers for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows Millennium.
	W32N55.DLL Platform API DLL - A DLL which exports the Win32 NDIS API and hides platform dependencies associated with accessing the underlying protocol drivers.

Although they cannot be licensed by themselves, sources to the supporting DLLs and drivers are referred to as the Rawether Device Driver Kit (DDK).

Two Levels Of Support

Both versions of Rawether for Windows can be licenses with two different levels of support:

	Basic Product - Basic products include 90 days of Technical Support and 90 days of free product updates.
	Subscription Product - Subscription products include one year of Technical Support and one year of free product updates.
