Rawether for Windows
Eliminate version incompatibility problems associated conflicting Rawether installations.
More flexibility in installation location of Rawether runtime components |
The renaming process can be done by customers who have the Rawether "Professional" version (They have a license to all Rawether sources - including drivers). However, the process is somewhat tedious and requires the systematic use of three different driver build environments.
The process of re-naming includes:
Renaming of the DLL and driver file names
Renaming the NDIS driver protocol name
Renaming of the driver symbolic links |
PCAUSA provides private-labeled versions of Rawether for Windows for a typical service charge of US$795.00.
If you have licensed the Rawether Professional version you will be provided with sources to your OEM build. If you have licensed only the Rawether SDK, then you will only receive the executables to your OEM runtime components.

The PCAUSA License Agreement allows customers to redistribute products that are derived from or which include Rawether components in binary form without any additional royalty. However, the license places restrictions on the distribution of product in source form.
The license basically says that when a PCAUSA customer redistributes sources that include Rawether sources (including header files) or sources that are derived from Rawether sources, then the source code recipient must obtain their own license to the Rawether product.
PCAUSA will be glad to work with OEMs who have a need to redistribute Reference Software Designs that include components derived from Rawether sources.
